For our Truly Malaysian Project (~lah). We have to create several icons for every phase. There are 4 phase of them. An experimental project exploring graphic language of Malaysian and Malaysia identity. The project will concentrate on a content-led (design strategies), and developing pictorial icons (method) that capture essential aspects of nationality and the changing notions of Malaysian identity today.
Phase 1
- Stereotypical Icon
- We have to create 10 icons that define Malaysian
Phase 2
- Visual Counterpoint
- We have too create individual icons that placed linear sequence next to a photographic image which highly resonates with Malaysian.
Phase 3
- Culture Scene
- We have to create an individual icons that placed in a linear sequence that would illustrate social and cultural scenes of modern Malaysia. From changing technologies and etc.
But for our presentation, we have to introduce which part of Malaysia that I am coming from and we have to share it.
