REALISTIC FACE

This is a process of me, illustrating this realistic face.

First, I made some outlines as a guide then I pick some color tones.

Second, I colored the face with the base color.

I start on playing some shading and color toning.

I started to color the eyes and I start to detailed the face.

After that, I started to illustrated the hair. Which the best part of all.

The face started to look real and the detail start to pop. I illustrated the beard and put some finishing.

Visual Research Methodology ( Truly Malaysian Project ~Lah )

For our Truly Malaysian Project (~lah). We have to create several icons for every phase. There are 4 phase of them. An experimental project exploring graphic language of Malaysian and Malaysia identity. The project will concentrate on a content-led (design strategies), and developing pictorial icons (method) that capture essential aspects of nationality and the changing notions of Malaysian identity today.

Phase 1

  • Stereotypical Icon
  • We have to create 10 icons that define Malaysian
Phase 2
  • Visual Counterpoint
  • We have too create individual icons that placed linear sequence next to a photographic image which highly resonates with Malaysian.

Phase 3
  • Culture Scene
  • We have to create an individual icons that placed in a linear sequence that would illustrate social and cultural scenes of modern Malaysia. From changing technologies and etc.
But for our presentation, we have to introduce which part of Malaysia that I am coming from and we have to share it.

I am from Ayer Hitam Johor.
